About The Liguori School

The Liguori philosophy believes that every child is a unique learner. As children develop, they go through a process of discovery that is directed by their innate talents. Our after-school program encourages the development of each child's particular talents. Using Sameness Theory (Engelmann & Carnine, 1991) and direct instruction, we teach children mastery of all the core academic subjects at all grade levels. Through these programs devised by Engelmann and Carnine, teachers are provided with a precise, instructional toolkit to make children highly successful on all state testing.

The Liguori School employs retired educators who have a wealth of experience and background knowledge to instruct children in our after-school setting. In addition to homework help and computer training, a segment of the day is spent tutoring reading and math CRCT skills. Children that have gone through this educational process have scored in the "Exceeds" range on all academic areas of the CRCT.
